No one is going to pretend that things are easy at the moment. The good thing is that we are all still here.
It would be all too easy to get despondent and to talk oneself into an ever-descending spiral of doom and gloom. But why should we only ever hear about the bad stuff?
The only way the economy will move forward and our worlds will change for the better, is by the likes of you and I shouting about the positive things that are happening in our business-worlds.
We’re all in this together, so why should we allow the so-called ‘forces of power’ that have dragged us into this mess dominate our, relatively well ordered, sensible business goals.
I believe that with the right attitude we will succeed. We will hold our heads up high and say that we have earned the right to call ourselves true business and organisational leaders.
When the battle is won, I don’t suppose there will be any medals or indeed commemorative ceremonies. Just a number of comrades who will say “phew, that was a close one. Now what’s next”……………….
